Help - Lost all my HD channels

I seem to have lost some or all of my HD channels. Signal strength is 0 an all transponders on 99(c), 99(s) and 103(c). Bad LNB? Or maybe more than one bad one?

My DirecTV contract is up pretty soon, in February, and I have no hardware insurance coverage. Am I better off trying to fix this myself or try to get it done through the retentions dept?

Before even looking at the hardware side, completely unplug the receiver from power, wait about 2 minutes and then power it back up.

This will at least eliminate some of the possible receiver issues before you start hardware troubleshooting.

Next step is to check all connections for integrety. Just a little increase in line resistance will cause HD problems long before SD becomes an issue.
