I have 1000.2, 500 dish, and Vip 612 and wanting to get 119, 110, and 129. Reading few threads here seem it is hard to get all three on 1000.2. So can I set up like this?

My 500 is already in place getting 119 and 110. Can I run a cable from 500 to the inlet of 1000.2 and use 1000.2 for 129 only? Then a cable out from 1000.2 to the receiver? In this way I can get all three?

I don't think so. The internal switch in the 1000.2 will be a problem with that setup.

The 1000.2 isn't much harder than the 500 to point, as long as you have a clear line of sight.

.

Can you elaborate more?

So can I use 1000.2 for 129 and 500 for 119,110 and run both cables to switch SW21?

Or can i run both to dp34 and the out come to receiver?

I don't think either of those will work either.

If you have a DPP lnb on the 500, you could use that for 110/119 and then another 500 with a single of dual lnb connected to the in port of the DPP for 129. But, there is no way to use the 1000.2 as a wing dish.

I guess you could use the 1000.2 for 110/119, change the lnb on the 500 to a single or dual and use that for 129 to the in port of the 1000.2. But, if you have the 1000.2 pointed at 110/119, the third lnb will already be pointed at 129 so I don't see the point to that, unless you have LOS issues.

the 1000.2 is made to pick up 110, 119 and 129. its not difficult to pick up. I dont know what area your in but if your aiming yourself off the TV or something just move it side to side/up and down then when you get decent signal adjust the scew untill you get it peaked (unless you can find the elevation, azmith and scew for your area)

Thanks for the helps guys. I wil try to install 1000.2 tomorrow see if I can get them all. If not, I will use DP500 and another dual lnb.
