Help - Pansat 3500

Friend needs help w/ a Pansat 3500 . He is having trouble setting it up .

I can send him a Channel Master chanel List for a 2500A . Will this work ? Do I save it as a bin file so he can write it to the SD card he uses for the 3500 ?

The channel list from the 2500 will work with the 3500. I took my FTA list from the 1500 and put it in the 3500 with no issues

As for the card part, that I do not know.
