PLEASE help TWO DAYS I can't get locked on.

I have the dish 1000

I need 110, 119 and 129

I get 110 EASILY but 119 and 129 are driving me INSANE

I entered my zip 65275

Tried transponders 1 - 12

I get good signal on 110 BUT 119 I can't get locked much less 129 and DONT know what I am doing wrong

Is your mast as perfectly vertical as possible?

Have you set the skew properly?

Use TP 11 on 110 and 119 and tp 30 on 129.

Do you receive a Installation booklet with your dish 1000? If so, read it very carefully. It provides detailed instruction on installing and setting up your 1000. It also has a matrix chart for AZ, EL, and SKEW based on your ZIP.

If you don't have a booklet, go to the Dish Network web site and download one. It's very useful!

After checking the Dish zipcode chart, the correct settings for your dish are:
Azimuth 209, Elevation 39, and Skew 115.

Having installed in the area, I believe that using this elevation and skew would be very close. Having said that, you are in a rugged, forested area, correct?

What you describe doesn't sound like equipment failure but sounds like a line of sight issue. 110 is the highest in the sky and you've probably got good line of sight. I suspect trees are blocking 119 and 129.

Check this out:

Super Signal!
