Help - quick answer about HIC hookup

I've got a tech visit in the next 30 mins to install a HIC in my 2H/2J syatem. Can I connect the HIC to a Hopper or does it have to be to a Joey?

Either, but if dropped off a Hopper line you must use a tap.

Thanks, I assume the HIC output normally going to the Joey would be left open/terminated?

Thanks for the help. The tech just left. One HIC connected up on a Hopper run with a tap to feed the Hopper. Works perfectly. DLNA apps now working.
