I recently split the output of my 508 to my bedroom. Problem is the remote seems to be just out of range, it's only about 25 feet. I never had this problem with my old 4000.

Is there a way to extend the range? I did a search here and didn't see anything to address the problem. When I googled it I came up with this site http://www.skydeals.com/add22.htm selling an ATTENUATOR. Is that what I need, or do I need to upgrade the remote to a PRO?

I've already played with the antenna and replaced the batteries.

Any ideas?

an attenuator cuts the signal down.

Best option is to get a little piece of coax and place it between the antenna & receiver and get the antenna as high up as you can.
I have a 508 and after doing that, I can control it from the driveway :)

Playing recorded shows sequentially OR combining shows

OK, not that you've heard SIRIUS you going to get the service?
