Help with 722

I have a 722 that I am getting replaced. It has all of a sudden come up with a smart card error 021 and 349. It shows my card # as a S with a bunch of zeros. It will also restart itself about every 20-30 seconds. I called in & tech support tried to fix it and is now sending me another receiver. Since then it has worked once, but I cannot get it to anymore. I am trying to put everything on my DVR to a hard drive to save what I have, but cannot access anything. Is there anything I can do or any hope tech support could help me out on this.

722 dvr woes

I'm afraid not. If you can't access the the menu to set up the external HD then it's hopeless. Depending on what you had saved some of it could coded to prevent transfer to external.
