I have a 36" locked on 97w with a dual lnb.
Thinking to add an old universal "seesat" lnb for 101w without moving the dish.
Is it doable?

yes
Many folks have done that. Just make sure the 2nd LNB is to the left of the 1st one when you stand in front of the dish facing it. When you work with multiple LNB's they go opposite of how they are in the sky

see attached pic of a dish setup I had

For 4 deg spacing on a 36" dish will probably require the use of two 40 mm diameter (feed horn) LNBs. You can buy small ones from SatelliteAV. The focal points at 4 degree spacing usually won't allow the use of larger LNBs.

Thanks Iceberg. I had a good feeling about it, but better check with pros before do the work.

Thanks. This is my old lnb.

I did not try the set up on 36", but i was plying yesterday with a 30" and got rtn on 83w. I lost them today.

It looks as i have to do the set up on 36" for either 101w or 83w.
I think both options are doable. Since i have only 1 old lnb available
witch one has a better signal?
apparently, 101w has setanta on a feed on 12157v(try to be prepared for 2010 world soccer cup).
83w has 2 rtn movies channels.
what are you recommending?
