Help with locals scan

Hmmmm.....well, so much for the guys on Ebay selling "NIB" Voom receivers...one is even claiming that they WILL get locals.

help with Voom

OK guys...i just got a Voom receiver that i bought off Ebay. IT has never been activated, is this still going to work for me to get the OTA locals? or do i have a new electronic door stop? My other problem is that i didnt get a remote, so i am fumbling though with a universal remote...and it keeps telling me to hit the green button on the VOOM remote to continue and my uni has no green button programed...any ideas?

Welcome to the forum.
If it has never been activated, it most likely won't work at all.
I wouldn't waste time and money on the remote. Sorry...
