help with remote codes

i have a rc64r remote and a sharp lc-47SB57ut tv and i cannot get the remote to control the tv..

please help!!!

quick and fast way to do it would be this...


Turn on your TV.


on the DIRECTV remote.

Slide your mode to TV

press and hold SELECT and MUTE button at the same time til you get 2 flash of light...


press 991

flashes 2

press 1 again

and use the channel UP button til your TV turns off,

once it turns off,

press SELECT and it will flash 2 times

and press the PWR button and the TV should come back on.


THIS will do a AUTO code search... and find what you need to run the tv. make sure your volume works and such


after that is completed, you can do this to get your TV INPUT to work too...


TV mode again


press SELECT and MUTE again til it flashes 2 times

press 9-6-0

and select,

press TV INPUT to verify the TV INPUT changes. if not, then your tv didnt get coded or didnt have a code for this function.
