Help with remote sat button

I have a blue buttoned remote for a 301. Lately the button that moves it into sat mode (upper left button) is not working well. The other mode buttons respond quickly, but I have to wiggle the sat button around to FINALLY get it to light up. Sometimes this will take a minute or two.

I have installed new batteries and taken it apart to see if there is any dust or other particles in there. Under the rubber button are two round pieces of metal that make contact on the circuit board. They are clean, and they appear to be in the correct position.

Any suggestion on what to do to this flakey button?
