But I will start out picking your brains :D

On the Ka/Ku 5 lnb dish, in which set of holes do you offset the side lnbs ?

closest to the other lnb's of further away?

I install in NY if that's a factor. When i took the class, the instructor (who SUCKED btw), didn't give us a concrete answer.

Also will the 99 network pass or fail on a correctly installed dish.

When looking at it from the BACK, farthest hole to the RIGHT. Yes the 99 fails. Just use the correct later option.

The AU9 Slimline is already out and is alot easier so you wont have to deal with the AT9 for much longer.

The 99 will only fail on the H20 receiver. It will get signal strengths fine on the HR20 DVR.
 
The instruction manual for the kaku includes a small map of the USA with 3 lines showing the locations for lnb adjustment by location.

Just find your location, then use the corresponding zone.
