We bought a house that has D* already installed. The previous home owner left us 2 Tivo units. I am 99.9% sure the contract was up and nothing is owed.
My question is can I activate those units as a new subscriber? Or will they charge me $20 for each one to get a new card?
The reason I ask is that they are Tivo units and have been modded for networking, no phone line, etc.
