Eastern arc with two head lnb (61.5 and 72.7) Hopper3, Joey 3, I have SD channels locked out, guide shows History HD but picture is stretched horizontally.

If I switch my Sanyo on the Joey to 4X3 aspect ratio, faces on screen look normal, 16X9 faces are stretched.

History logo in lower right is in black and white, does that mean it is the SD channel?

Well, now since Ancient Aliens is off, the next program looks normal.

Perhaps their Ancient Aliens program was done back in the 90's and in re-broadcasting it they did not correct the aspect ratio.

Credits say it was produced in 2006.

Also, I could see the synch code bars across the first lines of the picture like you saw in NTSC broadcasts.
