Well I use each for different things. I also run 6 messenger services at once at times. But my machine is an AMD 3700X2 with 2 gigs of sys RAM 3 video cards and 3 17 inch LCD monitors. So I have a bit of screen res left over as it is set to 3840x1024. It is not a competition, it is just my preference. I also have both Norton and mcafee on the machine. It is 100% custom built by me and runs a water cooling system plus 8 fans.

I hate when I go on someone's puter and see 27 toolbars on the browser with just half a centimetre for the website.

You haven't tried they Yahoo Toolbar then. ;)

Man that one screwed up my system.

I personally run Google AND Alexa on my system, the reason for Alexa is for the site stats so I can see how we are doing.

scott, the yahoo bar got me too.

i run McAfee, spy-bot and verizon , it may be a pain once a month, but it is worth it.

Whats funny? That I have 5 computers on the network in my house? That I like to surf the web on 1 screen/watch a DVD on another/ and chat on another?

Get ad aware from download.com. Update them daily and run them every other day. Mine are set to run at 8 am while I'm sleeping.

I never even have to mess with them except when they catch something.

Mcafee does kill 30 tracking cookies every night. But I kill them before they become a problem. One big key is to know what sites to stay away from. I also do not usually run "retail" versions of software. And i am a beta tester for Microsoft.

Wrong again GARY!!!

I have spybot - adaware and the 2006 delux Macafee suite and none of the tool bars contain any spyware or adware.
Not AGAIN. (There has to have been a previous occasion to use that term.) And not this time.

It's still a piece of useless add-on crap. Period.

I have 30 pcs with 5 136GB SCSI hard drives each. Each PC is setup in RAID5. I have them setup in 3 groups of 10 PCs that all mirror each other on a Fiber network accross town at my penthouse suite.

Each PC is running quad Xeon 3.2GHZ CPUS and 32 GB of RAM. I have every toolbar ever know to man loaded on IE7 Beta. I am using Norton, mcafee, trend, AVG and Panda Antivirus. Each PC has 4 video cards with a 24 inch LCD monitor connected to each. I can watch 400 dvds, play Doom3, World Of Warcraft, Guild Wars and The Sims all at the same time while surfing porn on the other 76 monitors. :)

I wasn't upset, learn how to take a joke.:D

I forgot for a moment that I am living in the land of the offended. I thought my response was pretty funny, I guess I need to remember, not everyone has a since a humor.

I am Sorry, Mr. Sensitive.

It was pretty funny. Apparently, the guy had to sell his sense of humor to help pay for all of his computer crap.

Eric please stay on topic, your ramblings as of late have nothing to do with the topics at hand.

If you want to rant on CNN, Western Union or if the moon is made of cheese please do it in the chit chat area.

Thanks.

well i thought this had to do with ads on the site and i posted about a ad on the site. Sorry to jump off topic.
