Has anyone else had any shows not record on the hopper? I’m currently on software U535 (not sure how long I’ve had it). I watch a lot of tv and have all of my shows to record all new episodes. But last night I noticed that my timer for Chicago PD didn’t record on Wednesday night (although Chicago Med and Fire did record). And tonight I was looking through the 9 episodes of Last Man Standing I have recorded and noticed the episodes from 2/22 and 3/15 did not record either. To my knowledge this has never happened with this hopper. Although this was a big problem several years ago with an old 622 or 722 (can’t remember which). Now it makes me wonder what other shows I’ve missed. Is this a known issue with the latest software?

I have a Hopper 3 and a Joey and have just run into this issue today while trying to catch up on Survivor. On the DVR icon, it shows 9 episodes, but when I click on it, only the two most recent can be watched. The older 7 seem to have disappeared. However, if I log on to Dish Anywhere on my phone, they are all there. I can simply begin playing them from your phone on the TV and all DVR controls work. Really weird.

I'm seeing the same thing on a showroom receiver here. Don't worry, it's not your equipment.

Thanks, this suggestion helped me watch 2 episodes of a different program that disappeared from my Hopper 3, but were available on Dish Anywhere.

I've noticed lately that some shows that are supposed to record are marked with a "skip it" logo, the white ball. Like Smokey, I have programs set to record all new shows. I've had to restore the recording of several that were new but marked "skip it". Once restored they record okay, but it's pain having to check everything each week.

I have noticed that too lately. I have been in a habit of checking my daily timers every morning since back to about 2003 when I was with Charter. Sure has saved me numerous times thru the years.

As noted the missing recordings show up in Dish Anywhere and can be played from there. They also are there if you have 2 Hoppers and pull the list from the remote Hopper. All the recordings are there and they play normally.

Thanks for the info and confirming my H3 wasn't at fault. I was able to retrieve the episode later...with commercials. Lots of commercials. ;)
