I am not sure when this happened, but my Hopper 3 no longer displays all the recording on my external hard drive. It's currently on firmware version H707 dated May 20th. It seems to stop at 575 recording icons (115 rows x 5 per row) and I never had this problem before. I was looking for a specific recording that started with a "T" by sorting alphabetically, and it stopped in the "S"s. At first, I thought I lost everything that came after, but when I sorted by record date, there were plenty of recordings that started with letters after "S". But again, it would only show up to 115 rows. My UHD is 4TB and has no problems. Clearly, a bug has been introduced in one of the recent firmware versions. Does anyone else see this problem?

To troubleshoot, I powered off the UHD, power cycled the Hopper and powered on the UHD after the Hopper rebooted. Didn't make any difference.

This is my recording list sorted alphabetically and sorted by record date. You can see the alphabetical stops at Sicario, but the other shows Titanic, Transformers and others that come after "S".

Delete one (move to DVR) and see if a "missing" title appears. It may be a display limitation and the missing are still there, just hidden.

PS- There is a limitation on how much space will be used. A 6 doesn't mean it will be fully used. I know, I know. It is what it is.

It's not a space issue and the missing ones are still there because I can see recordings that start with "T" and beyond when sorting by record date. All the movies whose titles start with "The" do not show up in the alphabet sort, yet I have dozens of them. It sure seems like there is a display limit, but it did not exist before. I have only transferred a handful of recording to the UHD in the bast several months, so I did not all of the sudden go over a limit, and if I did, it would only not show the number that I recently moved. This is a new bug. Does anyone from Dish still check in here?

I just double checked and my UHD is 4TB, not 6TB. I also moved a couple of recordings back to the Hopper, and two more recording showed up after the Sicario movies, so yes, there is a limit to how many will be displayed. I know I could see all my recordings a while back, I just don't remember how long ago that was. I assume this limit is per hard drive? Can I get around it by adding another drive and moving some to the Hopper and then to the 2nd drive?

There is a limit to how many are displayed after so many, but this is an error that's been going on since an update around August of last year. Contact BrittanyGardner and the Techops team on here and call in.to Dish support you demand to talk to someone with techops. They are aware of it and have been. It's affected several of my EHD since August
