I've had considerable leakage problems with Duracell.
Lately Ive been buying Panasonic Eneloop rechargables. They are supposed to be recharged 2000 times while maintaining 80% effectiveness - we'll see.

I've been using Eneloops for years. I have yet to have one go bad.

Silly question: are your batteries actually dying (it won't register button presses), or are you just getting the popup warning on the screen?

The reason I ask is that I have gotten SW updates that cause the warning to pop up even if my batteries have plenty of life left. Then in a subsequent SW release it goes away. Sometimes it comes back later and the cycle repeats. This happens on both my H3 and my Joey 4's .....

just get pop up remote works like normal

I have been using Eneloop for over 10 years in camera equipment and other things. Mostly AA No issues at all and cycled many times

I'm actually trying to use all my other rechargeable batteries before using my Panasonic/Sanyo Eneloop and Enerloop Pro's.

As per the article's finding, I've been buying AC Delco. I can't say they are the best, or better than, but with my Harmony remotes and under counter kitchen lights last longer than Amazon Basics by a long shot!!!

Those are Johnson Controls if they are made in the USA.

AC Delcos are made by Powermax Co, who is owned by Alpine Power Systems. Johnson's involvement in non-automotive ended in 2019.
