Hopper 3 requires higher mount antenna?

The final result is Dish says I am tagged as a low antenna (at 16ft) and if I want to find a retailer to mount the H3 that might be the way to go. Sounds to me like they left me hanging
and taking my own risk. So much for being a customer since 1997! I will get a super joey and give it another crack in the summer. Meanwhile I will enjoy Sat 129 on my current Hopper.
I would give DIRT another try. Sounds like they have your market marked as "low beam" it is an issue that I have seen several post about when wishing to upgrade to Hopper 3. I think that DIRT can probably help you with this issue.

When I install a hybrid system for any Hopper / or HD system in general I can manage to hit 68/70 on 119, 60/69 on 110, and 53/60 129.
I generally mount to Fascia, Direct to Wall or in a lot of cases Roof with extra precautions. ( wherever I get best LOS) As long as your signals are above 50 your good, leaving 5% for weather variables. Under 45 you will lose channels.
