Hopper 3 with sling already bit the dust installed 11-13

I know, right? Was almost afraid to say it! Moved from rural to small town in 2016, changed my 722 & 622 for a Hopper 3/Joey. Never any problems. And would never go back to 2 tuners...
5 tuners would be the minimum for me. a person needs room to breath LOL!!! i see 2-3 tuners as pointless and full of problems like recording conflicts:rolleyes:, we never watch live tv it's all recorded so we ca FF through the ad's :biggrin. though 16 tuners is amazing never any recording conflicts!!! we traded our genie 2 in for a hopper 3 i would never go back to 7 tuners :biggrin ;). the hopper 3 just makes the genies cry ;) :):biggrin

It did, but the Dish tech support in India or wherever it is insisted it was a bad box.
did he remote in 🤔. if not im shocked that he didn't remote into the hopper and try and see what was going on.. that's the first thing they do with us whenever we need help is ask if they can remote into our hopper.. doing a remote in should be part of the flow chart..

When I did upgrade from the Equipment years ago, it wasn't the Hopper 3, but the Hopper. Nothing but issues with the Hopper. It would just shut off. A few months later, after countless times on the phone with Tech Support, Dish finally said that I needed a Tech Visit. The Tech who hooked up the Hopper, was the same who talked me into upgrading to the Hopper 3, and I haven't regretted it.
That would have been a guy from my company, based on where it says you live. May or may not have been my office. You're kind've on the boundary line between Bloomington and Mt Vernon offices.
