Are they even making any new Hopper 3's? I'd think they're just sending refurbs out at this point.

5 tuners would be the minimum for me. a person needs room to breath LOL!!! i see 2-3 tuners as pointless and full of problems like recording conflictsI know, right? Was almost afraid to say it! Moved from rural to small town in 2016, changed my 722 & 622 for a Hopper 3/Joey. Never any problems. And would never go back to 2 tuners...
. though 16 tuners is amazing never any recording conflicts!!! we traded our genie 2 in for a hopper 3 i would never go back to 7 tuners

it would be interesting to see how long a hopper has been leased out before they decide to sell it. if they lease the ones they sell out at all.For many years now.
did he remote inIt did, but the Dish tech support in India or wherever it is insisted it was a bad box.
That would have been a guy from my company, based on where it says you live. May or may not have been my office. You're kind've on the boundary line between Bloomington and Mt Vernon offices. When I did upgrade from the Equipment years ago, it wasn't the Hopper 3, but the Hopper. Nothing but issues with the Hopper. It would just shut off. A few months later, after countless times on the phone with Tech Support, Dish finally said that I needed a Tech Visit. The Tech who hooked up the Hopper, was the same who talked me into upgrading to the Hopper 3, and I haven't regretted it.
