Hopper and 211z external hard drive

I'm quite sure this has been addressed many times on this forum but I just can't seem to get the correct search terms to find the posts.
I have a Hopper3 and an external hard drive connected to it. We also have a 211z that we use with a portable satellite dish while on vacation. Is there any way that we can take the EHD from the Hopper and play the programs on the 211z? The Hopper can't be used on the portable dish or we would just take it. The antenna is a Winegard Pathway X2.

You will not be able to use your EHD from the Hopper 3 on any 211 receiver. They are not compatible...
