I assumed that the Hopper Plus was required to support additional Apps on my entire system. System has a Hopper:3 and three Joey:4s. The Hopper:3 was acting slow so I disconnected the Hopper Plus and the Joey:4s kept on working as full fledged Android App Machines. I don't need Apps for the Hopper as I use a Roku there.

It was a multi hour process to get the Hopper Plus operational for nothing. Anybody have any experiences to share?

Who spent the multi-hour process on the Hopper+?? It literally goes from power to live TV in about 10 minutes

I have been running a Hopper3 without Plus feeding 4 additional Joey4's since they first came out. No problems at all with Apps, latency, anything!!

Well, except for the horrible new Joey UI  .....
