I am a retailer in a non-HD local market so I install alot of antennas with Dish. Recording OTA channels is an issue. Video and audio dropping. Unwatchable. Live TV is OK but DVR is horrible. Anyone else?
If you search here I have seen people have solved this by adding something that decreases the signal or something.

That doesn't work. There's a problem in the H3 software. Apparently DISH doesn't think it's a priority to fix it as it's been messed up since the H3 release.

Everybody should report the problem to DISH since theoretically the more people that complain about it the more likely it is that they'll raise the priority of the fix.

Highly doubt it, but I'm curious. I use to have Dish and the OTA digital dongle had an "add locals" button that I've heard even years later was not enabled. Have they activated it yet?

There was never a "button" on the dongle. It was a option in the OTA menu of 722s, etc, that never got implemented on any Hopper.
