Hopper Plus and Hopper Snap at same time . . . what?

Went into a house today for a no-wifi troublecall (I work for an ISP) and determined that the customer's issue was exclusively on their HWS receiver. I noticed that they had both a Snap and a Plus installed at the same time, as far as I know, this is not a configuration that Dish supports... I doubt it was related to her wifi issue, but I am curious if there are any known issues of having both devices installed to the HWS receiver at the same time. . . . . .

Incidentally, before someone asks, I recommended that the customer call in and enquire about the HIC, which would bypass any wifi issues.
