You might have woke up today to be surprised that your Hopper has been upgraded to S222 overnight. I know I was.

I haven't found anything new in it, but something must be new.

I was hoping to see the ability to change the update time... Sadly no change there...

Update is major pain plus it ignores recordings and updates anyway.

Depends on the kernel modules and how they are configured. I don't know which distro they run, and there are subtle differences between them for configuration.

I got 222 last night. Now my DVR drags along real slow,almost to the point of locking up.

Haven't had that problem here. The S222 Hopper is just as responsive as the other two S221 Hoppers.

I notice the same thing with my Hopper which used to only get AutoHop on 50-75% of shows. It's been solid for the last 2 nights.

With 222 my guide opened to the favorites list it was on when I shut down last night, could that be something new? This has happened a couple of times in the past before 222.

Looks like all of my Hoppers have S222 now. Available Joey software is still S271.
