Hopper timers

I have a Hopper with 2 Joeys. So I have 3 timers. Right now I am recording 3 items. Somehow I am able to watch the football game as well. It is like I have a 4th timer. This just started today. What is happening?

If its on a local channel then you are witnessing a new feature that allows Hopper to pull in 4 channels on a single tuner. This was added last month with the most recent update.

Does this mean that I have 6 tuners all of the time at least in the same way I do during prime time?

It is exactly the same as PTAT. Just works all the time now.

I just tried to watch the show I tried to record on my local channel and it does not act like it recorded. I just get a blank screen. However I can watch the end of the program live now. Have there been any issues with this update?
