Welcome to Satguys, Jose.

That may not be your best choice in satellite reception, and may be very close to your East Horizon if not beyond it. I just looked at Satellite Finder and your mountains East of you may interfere with your signal.

Your elevation from San Diego (depending on exactly WHERE in San Diego) needs to be 15.1 degree. You might want to look at dishpointer at the top of this and every page in the blue streak right below the Gold Sponsors to see if there is an easier satellite for you to pick up.

I'm sorry I couldn't be more help than that, but since no one responded in two days ......

What I do is check out what Spanish programming is available on each satellite on the Lyngsat page. I then look at the footprint of that satellite and size of dish required for my location which will be available on Lyngsat maps. There is even a better page for signal footprints but I can not find the link at the moment. Start with the Satmex satellites before chasing a bird way over the Atlantic. It is assumed that you already know about the Telemundo and Azteca feeds that can be received with a small dish. To obtain true South American channels, you are limited to the C-band (big dish) unless you move further south.
