How do I make a 3D "READY" TV 3D?

Has anyone bought a after market emitter or adapter for the HL61A750 series samsung DLP TV? I am looking to get my "3D" up and going but I am a little confused over if I just need the IR emitter and Glasses or do I need the adapter and DLP 3D glasses. I was looking a t 3Dglassesunlimited.com, they seem to have what I need but I would like to hear from someone that has actually attempted it or even got it to work! If it works I would like to replace my regular blue ray player with a 3D blue ray player. Plus the wife said If I could get the 3D to work she would spring for the blue ray player as a b-day gift!! BONUS!

The new Mitsu kit works for that TV

AFAIK, only HDMI3 works for 3D, but that kit gives you everything you should need to get going. Mitsu and Samsung seem to be sharing some tech, because some glasses are interchangeable. I just ordered a Samsung starter kit with two glasses to go along with my Mitsu Starter kit with two glasses, for my 2010 Mitsu DLP.

Check around for the kit, I found it locally for $272 (with tax) at a Rent to own store...

I got both my kits for around $475 total, much cheaper than buying 4 glasses and I got the emitter.

The Mitsu/Samsung active shutter glasses are light and not bad.
