I have a 43-inch Samsung (from around 2016) that I stopped using around 3 years ago. It was working fine at that point, but upon plugging it in last night, I found this problem on the far right (6 inches). I was going to give it to a friend if I could get rid of this. I'm sure this is a long shot, but is there anything I might try?

Judging by the picture, doubtful. But there are screen "scrubbers" that MIGHT help. But I doubt it.

Storage conditions! Probably OBE.

Something tweaked the right side of that Samsung's screen after you took it out of service. It is toast.

Any male teenagers in the house? They're always good to blame… :devilish
