how do i point my dish in the correct direction?

We were living in an tv untill we build our new house. Dish came out and put two centerblocks under the dish and set it up. Well we had to move in with my parents because of our heat messing up. So I brought all the equipment with me. I'm trying to set it up here. The dish is still on the center blocks and now in my parents yard. Everything is hooked up and it is trying to squire signal with no luck. My dish has dish hd printed on it. My reciever is VIP 612 dvr. Can someone please help me find a signal. Thank you!
