Finally made the upgrade to HD, said a very reluctant goodbye to my Series II Directivo, and switched to an HR20. I miss the ability to create a wishlist with "@ Lakers" which records all Lakers games. Since there is no "@" sign, it seems I must record all shows that have the word "Lakers" in the title. My other question is how do I prioritize that it record the game in HD if it's on my local channel, Fox Sports, and even NBA TV? Some games show up like 3 or 4 times simultaneously, how does the HR20 decide?

Thanks.

Edit: Just noticed that when I search, it shows programs on channels I don't even get, even though I've set my favorites up as a custom to exclude those channels. So when I search for "Lakers & Sports Basketball" I get 8 results today alone. This is crazy, please tell me I don't have to set every single game manually.

This is something you may have to work at a bit, but I would try looking in the guide and find the first Lakers game you find (you said you want to record them all , right ?)
Once you find it in the guide, highlight it, then hit select, you'll get another set of options up, you'll have "Record Once" and "Record Series" and Episodes.... Highlight "Record Series", this SHOULD do it for you, once you go into "Record Series you'll have more options, set it up for Episode Type "First Run", this is the section that you can also pad the time, you can add time to the Stop selection, add time if you think it might be nessasary.

Don't forget to go to the right and highlight and Select "Record Series"

Give this a try for a bit and see if this is recording just the games, if so, your good to go.
If not, you'll need to adjust further.
Seeing you originally told it to record the game you chose, I think you will be good.
Also, when you go to tell it to record the game, make sure you go up to the actual time that the game is on, the guide will show up to 14 days in advance, so if you pull up a game, it will show but may not be on until the next eveining, you will want to go into the Next evening when chosing the game.

Thanks for your reply, Jimbo, I'll give that a shot. In Tivo I believe it would only look for all other "Lakers @ Pacers" or whatever if you do a season pass. I'll try it and let you know, though.

I'm hoping that the rec. will pick up on the @ and see that you are looking for games and not just general Laker stuff, keep us informed of what it does !
