I need assistance to set up local channels with the pansat receiver 9200, do I have to get an antenna for that or how it works.
Thanks in advance.
Jose

Jose I don't think any of your local channels would be on any satellite that a fta receiver could pick up. If your pansat does have OTA tuner in it, you need an external antenna connected to the receiver to tune them. If you're close to the stations, maybe a simple set-top indoor antenna would work, but then you really wouldn't need the satellite box-just connect it to your television. If you don't have a tv with a digital tuner yet, I believe you can still find those stand-alone decoder boxes for that. Google search should turn up likely dealers for them.

The 9200 has a built in ATSC tuner. Connect an antenna to the ATSC input, ( all the way to the right as viewed from the back, ) Then go to menu, and go to the Terristial Setup option. Scan in the OTA channels there. Have a great day!
