How keep the Renamed/ edited channels on Openbox S9 HD

I have the dish aimed to The Nss 806 at 40.5 W.. I am getting around 50 Free Channels on the Openbox S9 HD.. I have edited the name on some channels through the remote control and Channel edit of the receiver but I have noted when I scan again the satellite the edited names has switched to the original name like Ch1, Ch2, No name, etc etc etc..
Any "Trick" to keep the edited Channels? or If I edit the channels through the Ali Editor could Keep the name, and not erase during future scannings

Use the editor on your computer and change the SID to something that's unused on each transponder. A scan will add the same channels, but not overwrite the ones you've modified.
