How many countries?

Does anyone have an idea how many countries Dish is in?

The reason I ask is just out of curiosity.
I was looking at some photos I have been taking on trips over seas and it amazed me when I found a direct tv dish on a roof in Germany and a direct tv dish in a photo of Tokyo.

I thought both companies were just US and the surrounding territories.

they are

Dish and Directv are allowed to sell in the 50 US states and parts of Carribean legally. Legally as in the address must be in the US or Puerto Rico/USVI

Are there subs in Canada and Mexico? yes...but they have ot use a workaround
BUt due to the way the earth is no way they can have D* or E* across the pond.

And in Mexico there is Dish Mexico a Mexican company (an Echostar JV with local MVS communications) and with different programming....

Probably just reusing old dishes in those countries.
