As for Pay Per View? I have never bought it and never will. I use Netwflix, and watch 6 to 8 movies a month. That runs to FAR cheaper than pay per view. I can put a netflix movie in my queue and receive it the next day. So PPV does have that beat, but it is way too expensive. Plus I have the 3 movie plan with Netflix, so I generally always have at least 2 DVD's sitting there to choose from.
PPV is too expensive, and picture quality is SD. Why would anyone buy that except for an impulse purchase?
If they reduced the price to $1.99 and had them HD with surround? Absolutely, I am in. But the current high price and lower picture quality, with no dolby digital 5.1 surround? You have to be kidding me.
