How to read the values in the 6-1-3 details report?

These apply to dual tuners and all VIP receivers(including 211 & 211k)

Value:0 Above 2:Hard drive is failing
Value:1 Above 10 Hardware failure-driver
Value:2 Above 0 Receiver is having potential hardware issues
Value:3
Value:4 Above 200 receiver is locking up(does not apply to 322)
Value:5
Value:6
Value:7 4-is the only acceptable value (on 522dvrs ONLY) any other # har drive is malfunctioning
Value:8
Value:9

Values 3,5,6,8,&9 are for engineering use only

This information was distributed to techs in our office more than a year ago. Personally, I have found little use for it. Most of the time I have never seen these values vary from receiver to receiver, and when they have indicated a failure of some sort, the cust has not seen or experienced any issues. And, I'd bet that if a tech were to RA an otherwise working receiver, it'd come back against them as a NPF (no problem found).
