My DiSH DVR 625 is clicking and has "Error 024". We cannot view our DVR recordings--it always says "data not available."

Is this a hard drive failure? Can I fix it?

best way to fix it is with dhpp. if you already have it, take advantage of the warrenty man. i know it sucks losing your recordings, so make sure anything on there you been meaning to watch, watch it now. cause if its clicking, its probably gonna go soon.

Thanks for the info. Getting a replacement now. We've had DHPP for as long as we had DiSH Network even though I'm an FTA hobbyist.

I used the online chat and it was very quickly resolved.
Before I used the chat I tried calling 5 times and the system hangs up when I try to transfer to technical support.

glad to hear it man. yeah, im a hobbyist too. so i know the joy of curiosity in wanting to take things apart to fix them, but if you break the seal on the harddrive bracket on the dvr, then the warranty is voided.
