622 Dvr running...

There is a marathon that is on today that last over 12 hours on A&E. I wanted to know if that is safe for my 622 to be on all day and most of the night??? I downgraded the programming from hd to sd to save some storage space. I just can't afford for my 622 to run all day and then start acting up on me. Any help is needed.
