As of 11/28 the caller ID stopped working. I have tried resetting the receiver, deleting all the calls, pretty much everything I can think of. This happened once before but it miracuously just started working again. I have also tried the phone line with and without Verizon's DSL filter.

It's kind of frustrating that one day things work great and the next, things just don't work. I had this happen with the RF remote as well. One day the RF just ceased to work. I have since had to resort to IR.

Any ideas? It works fine on all the phones.

What software is currently on your machine ?

I find it to be a software issue more often than not.

For the past 6 months, the CID has been a hit or miss here, but I'm constantly running CE software too.

Thanks for the replies!

Jimbo, the software version is 0x368.

In response to the DSL filter, I have tried a couple of different filters to no avail so I doubt it's the filter.

0368 is the latest software version.

Have you tried running a line to the DVR from a different phone jack as a test?

I assume you tried a phone in that jack, right?

Do you have a caller id capable phone to try?

I have the same issue here, sometimes it works, other times it doesn't.
My caller ID works on all the other phones as well as the jack that the recvr is plugged into when I put my CID capable phone on that jack.

Thanks for the commecnts fellas. I guess I'll have to deal with it.

Ironically, after the new CE tonight, it appears to be working.
or sort of, it's coming thru Unavailable, but at least it's popping up this time, it wasn't doing that before.
It will work tomorrow at this point.
