Hr20 Native Resolution Issue

I just hooked up my new HR 20 DVR, I have the resolution set to native, but the receiver format indicator stays on 480p regardless of the programming. If I change to another format, it always returns to 480p with the next channel change. I would like the receiver to automatically switch between formats as I change channels. What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated.

If you are setting it up and using the Native, that IS the right place, not sure why it's not working for you.

Goto <Menu><Help & Settings><Setup><TV Type> Tab to <TV Resolutions>
and Make sure all resolutions your TV supports are marked.
