HR21 Problems

Has anyone have this kind of problem w/ their HR21?

I got it installed 2/18 and about 2 weeks ago it would just freeze. It wouldn't freeze while I'd be watching, but a couple times I would want to watch TV and the darn thing would not get out of standby. I would have to powercycle the receiver each time. What's worse is it missed some recordings cause it was frozen.

Granted I'm still under the 90day warranty period so they're shipping me one for free, but this is a hassle. Has anyone come across this issue before?

BTW, I have the HR21 currently plugged into a surge suppressor.

Our HR21-700 has done the freeze thing a few times the past two weeks, not sure if it is the new software or what is causing it. But it is a pain in the butt.

Mine would not turn on yesterday had to do a hard reboot.

I guess it may be a software issue. Since I'm not sure, I'll be taking the replacement receiver.

At least I'm getting a new receiver out of this. It's a pain though. No way to transfer my recorded shows over.

When I first got mine it freezed up alot, but since the recent software updates it's been working perfectly

My HR21 sometimes won't wake up with the power button on the remote. Hitting any button after that (even the volume) will cause it to come out of standby.
