My HR23-700 receiver keeps trying to update the software but there is no progress in the status bar and eventually just reboots. This happened to me a couple of months ago and fixed it by taking it to a friends and connected it to their dish. The software updated right away! Now since there is a new software version I am having the same problem. Is this a dish problem? I have good signal from my slimline and have two coax cables coming down from the dish into the receiver (not SWM). Any ideas?

I have/had a H20 that did that recently.
I called D* they went thru checking things over and sent me a new recvr. At that same time I upgraded to a HR24.

If it works with someone else's dish this indicates a signal problem on the 101 satellite on your dish. Post back with ALL your 101 signals on tuner 1.
It's been a few days. Do we know if the problem has been fixed?
