Kind of a raspy type sound..Only happens when the sound comes through tv. If I use my surround sound it doesnt happen. Tried multiple channels and inputs.. PS4 is fine. Haven't rebooted yet will try that when I get home. Any other ideas ?

Is it audio from your tv/stereo, or is it from the HR24 itself? If from the dvr it's probably a bad capacitor and you should have Directv send you a new dvr.
