My system consists of 2 x HR24, H24, and H23. The HR 24 in my living room stopped working Thursday. Initially it said that it could not communicate with satellite. I could see all the recordings on it from my other units. After a reset, it says SWM not detected. I am a NU-B so help me out here. Where is my SWM? Isn't it outside? The TS told me to check what I believe is a DECA connected to the H23. Anyway, she eventually told me that they needed to send a tech out and that the earliest they could be here is June 2. I am hoping you guys can help me fix it before then. I hope I provided enough info, if not ask. Thanks in advance.

Unplug the Power Inserter, give it a few minutes, plug it back in, reset the recvrs and see if that fixes your issue.
If unplugging the power inserter doesn't work it is probally in the cable going into that reciever. It could be a barrell connector or a bad end.
It's the receiver. If it is seeing the other receivers the cable is fine.
You can try unplugging everything. Then plug in the power inserter, then the receivers.
