My bedroom HR24 seems to be acting up. Very slow on fast forward, and jumpy and delays on other receivers with whole home hook up. Before it goes out, is there a way to transfer recorded shows to a new DVR? Or is there a way to correct the issues?

Unfortunately you can't transfer from one dvr to another.

Run a system test and see if you get a 48 or 54 type error. Post back. It could be wiring and not the receiver. .. but as chip said.. if you do need a new box all your recordings will be lost

you can also try going to channel 1, then hitting "red red blue blue yellow green" - this sometimes clears up a finicky drive
Ummm is that the contra code for dtv??? 9yrs in and I've never seen or heard of that. Not to mention ch1 got retired today. Does it work on any ch and what's it do?

My receiver dvr is now a little faster and less jumpy in fast forward after I did all of the above. Thanks all of your help

Clearmybox does a lot more than clear VRAM. It does more than RBR!

rc 72 programming tv code issue

Could unsupported MVR cause 771 and/or 775 errors?
