I downloaded a couple of hours ago...remote is sluggish and when I switch channels, it stay in black for a good 10 seconds and the display is slow too. I am hoping this is because it is processing all the new upgrades.

I let mine sit overnight to give it time to rebuild all the data and caching as my unit was VERY sluggish after the CE last night.

Unfortunately that did not seem to do any good as its still very sluggish and slow.

I repeat again definately NOT ready for national release.

Failing System Test also can not start network services (What are Network services?)

AFAKI, Network Services are used for the Widgets application and the STB and your router need to play nice with UPnP services. My Netgear router didn't so I set up static IP addresses, manual Net Services ports and then set up port forwarding in the router to the correct HR2X and all is now working.

I was only able to do my HR21/22/23 and not the HR20 last night due to a scheduled recording. What I've seen on the three that I did was that the first time going into a function like guide or list was very slow, almost to the point where I thought the box might be hung. But then exited and tried it again and speed was much better. Prior two CE's even trying to do direct channel entry was unusable, punched 245 on the remote and the box would only see 25 or 24, kept dropping a number, so far haven't seen this on this CE. I can do the HR20 tonight and see how it goes.

My router is an Apple Time Machine. It would not surprise me to see if this was the reason for the issue. I know for my Slingboxes I needed to manually open up ports on it so I could watch from outside the house.

Is there a listing of ports that we should open somewhere?
