There you have it, I hope you all can appreciate getting the information directly from the source, and that we will leave it as we get it, aiming to provide the most accurate information.

Please remember the last two notes, they are not concerned with MRV feedback on this release, but are paying careful attention to a loss of signal strength, and what switch configurations may contribute to this.

Also, we know DirecTV appreciates your feedback, both good and bad, please remember to be as descriptive as possible.

We hope you enjoy the NEW CE program at Satelliteguys!

Man, I really like the new format for the notes. It seems like the guys at the other forums are in it just to feel important. Most of the time their process and rules get in the way of anything productive happening.

While I believe the other guys do a great job with the program, and everything they have done to help grow it, we try to have a more relaxed atmosphere.

That said, lets try to keep the CE thread to the release, and not a us vs. them type thread :)

oh indeed. I didn't mean to do that. I am active there as well. anyway, I'll be downloading this tonight!

H21-200

another solid CE :up for the past few weeks the CE's for this receiver have been NC worthy! :)

Almost done on my H23 and H21. Will report later this weekend after I've been with it for a while!

So far so good, but I do hope they plan to address the AM21 staying powered up before they make this a public release. Haven't lost video, seems slightly quicker over all.

Thanks,

L.G.M.

What he means is after he turns off the receiver the am21 stays on.

Is that hurting anything, I'm sure it is still getting power even when the receiver is in standby anyway, just turns off the blue light on the front?

yeah i wouldn't worry about it either.the am21 doesn't even produce that much heat,if it does at all.

H23-600
After downloading CE last nite , got searching for sat signal(1-771)
Ran system test everything failed , rebooted signal came back
Ran sat signal strength test when i got to sat 99 and 103 got zero and lost sat signal
Rebooted signal came back. This morning ran system test and sat signal test and everything is fine. Thought i was going to have to go back to the national release.

did you send a report? it's very important you send a report after a CE and post the Diagnostic key here including any issues :)

What kind of switch do you have? A new SWM switch, an older traditional switch, or is your receiver wired directly to the dish?

Best playback I've ever seen out of the CE series. Very impressed with that. Unfortunately, I still see my receiver wake up during the middle of the night (H21-200). This doesn't happen every single night, but the last few CE's have it wake up at least three or four nights out of the week. I don't think this CE did it the first night (Saturday), but it did the second night.
