HTL-HD Digital Audio Out

Can the the "digital audio out" cover on the rear of the HTL-HD receiver be removed? If so, how? Most components that I have seem with a "digital audio out" has an easily removable dummy plug.

If you are referencing to the "dust door", this is common practice now instead of using the "dummy plug" to keep dust and debris out of the port. The "door" folds inward and out of the way when you plug in an optic cable. No need to remove anything.

I prefer the door to the dummy plug honestly. I wish my A/V receiver was like this. My Xbox HD adapter has the same feature.
