reformat HDD

is there a way to wipe and reformat the HDD in the genie 2??? we tried using the clearmybox command and nothing happened....

Menu ==> Settings ==> Reset/Restart ==> This Device ==> Reset to Default might do it. I've never tried it though.

that didn't wipe the drive. i guess i'll have to sit there for 5 hours doing remote exercises deleting everything

Try the "Reset Everything" or "Reset Everywhere" option.
