So tonight NBC had on "Monsters Versus Aliens" Halloween special on at 8PM. At 8:30 pm they repeated the same show that they showed at 8pm again.

Maybe they didn't have anything for the 8:30 timeslot? Reminds me of what TNT used to do, show the same thing back to back.
I think it was scheduled that way... I'll try to check my Replay guide and see (you can go back in time with it)
Yeah, it is bad enough when TBS or TNT do it for a movie, but to replay the same 30 min show back to back is really dumb. NBC just doesn't have much that is decent anymore.
Argh... I missed getting it for the kids. Oh well, hopefully NBC will replay it, if not, then torrent will have to supply.
Just shows you what's happening with the Networks . I believe ABC has shown the Peanuts Halloween Special twice .
SHO has been doing that for ages.. I always found it odd Californication is replayed on the same channel right after they just played it...
It saves them money to do that.
I read they may also repeat the previous days Nightly News if nothing majorly newsworthy happens.

Different nights makes sense, as some kids like to watch more than once. But back to back is ridiculous for a 30 min. episode.
Different Nights . But even doing that tells me that Networks are trying to save money. They will do the same thing with some Christmas Specials
